    ISI Admission Test 2022 Exam Pattern, Syllabus and Marking Scheme

    ISI Admission Test 2022 Exam Pattern follows a pen and paper (offline) based examination which will be conducted on May 8, 2022. The question paper of ISI Admission Test will be of 100 marks. The exam duration is 4 hours. ISI Admission Test 2022 Syllabus will contain undergraduate-level questions from Physics, Mathematics, Logical reasoning, etc. The Paper will be divided into 2 sections, Part A and B, where part A will consist of 30 marks and Part B will consist of 70 Marks.     • ISI Admission Test consists of 2 parts.
    • Section A of the test contains multiple-choice questions in Mathematics and logical reasoning. The questions are at the undergraduate level.
    • Section B of the test contains descriptive, short answer questions from Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, and Engineering & Technology.
    • Candidates have to get qualifying marks in both sections.
    • The duration of the time needed to finish each section is 2 hours.
    • The first section is of 30 marks, whereas the second section is of 70 marks.
    • Candidates who are applying for admission into M.Tech in Quality, Operations & Reliability will find two parts in section B.
    • The first part is for candidates who are from the statistics/maths stream. The second part is for candidates who are from the engineering stream.

    • Candidates have to attempt only one section out of the 5 sections: Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science and Engineering & Technology.

    ISI Admission Test 2022 Exam Pattern in Detail

    The test consists of two sections. Candidates need to score well in both sections for qualifying for the admission test. Candidates will have 2 hours to finish each section. The total marks of ISI Admission Test are 100 marks.

    Candidates can apply for taking admission in either M.Tech in CS or M.Tech in Quality, Operations & Reliability. The exam pattern of the admission test is slightly different for these two courses.

    Important Instructions

    The following instructions are to be followed by the candidate on the ISI Admission Test 2022:

    • Candidates will be given a test booklet that contains the questions of ISI admission test and an answer sheet known as the OMR sheet.
    • Candidates have to write their names in capital letters and signatures on the OMR sheet with a blue or black pen.
    • For the other things in the multiple-choice question test, candidates have to use an HB pencil on the OMR sheet.
    • Candidates have to fill in the date of the exam, registration number, booklet number, center code, and test code with HB pencil on the OMR sheet.
    • Candidates can find four bubbles numbered A, B, C, and D next to each question number.
    • They need to use their HB pencil to darken the correct bubble.
    • Candidates will be disqualified from ISI admission test if they do any rough work in the OMR sheet.
