Nationality

Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess or should be appearing in the final examination of any one of the following academic qualifications to be eligible for the entrance test:
- Female applicants- In-service Nurses must have studied 10+2 level along with a 3-year Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) and a minimum of two years experience in the profession. Alternatively, they should have studied till class 10 or it's equivalent with 3 years Diploma in GNM and a minimum of five years experience.
- Male applicants- Male nurses, who have not done midwifery in the GNM program must have a certificate in any of the Nursing courses of 6-9 months duration prescribed by the Indian Nursing Council.
How to fill IGNOU OPENNET 2022 Application Form?
IGNOU OPENNET 2022 Application forms are available on the official website and at the university center. Candidates can collect the application forms from the IGNOU regional center in person or by post. They must visit the university office to avail the application form and prospectus.
Students can also download the forms from the official website of the university. Application forms can be submitted through the offline mode only. Only those participants who apply for OPENNET 2022 by rendering the prescribed application fees can appear for the test.

Step 1: Obtaining the Application form
- Aspirants must collect the application form from the Director (SSC), IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi or from any regional center of the university by paying INR 1050 via cash or a Demand Draft drawn in favor of IGNOU payable at New Delhi or the concerned regional center.
- They can also obtain the forms by post or download it from the official website. Students will be required to pay INR 1050 via a Demand Draft.
Step 2: Filling the Application Form
- Participants will have to fill up personal details (name, parents’ name, gender, date of birth, religion, category, annual income etc.) and communication details (permanent address, email ID and mobile number).
- Individuals must also fill in details regarding their academic qualification like marks obtained in qualifying examination, year of passing, etc. and work status.
- They will then have to paste a recent, passport-sized photograph and sign in the space provided.
Step 3: Submitting the Application Form
- All individuals must submit the application form in person or by registered/ speed post addressed to
