    AIBE 2023 Exam Patternis set by the Bar Council of India (BCI). AIBE 2023 Syllabus includes topics related to the undergraduate level of law. AIBE Entrance Test is an offline (pen & paper-based test) that is conducted in 11 languages. Applicants can choose any one language during the application process.     • AIBE is a national-level examination taken by the Bar Council of India to judge whether provisionally enrolled advocates or fresh law graduates have the required skills to practice law.
    • The exam is an open-book test aimed at evaluating candidates' analytical abilities along with a basic understanding of law subjects.
    • BCI awards the Certificate of Practice to applicants who have cleared the bar exam with the minimum required percentage criteria. Those who are not able to clear AIBE will remain enrolled with their State Bar Council as provisional advocates but not as practising lawyers. Check AIBE Cutoff Marks
    • From 2010 onwards, attempting AIBE exam is mandatory for all law graduates post completing their degree.

    • AIBE 2023 Entrance Exam will be taken in an offline mode (OMR), candidates will get 3 hours and 30 minutes to complete the exam.
    • Candidates with having a disability of more than 80% will be given additional 30 minutes to write the exam.
    • The exam will be taken in 11 languages thus giving wider option to the candidates to choose one language.
    • A total of 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) are asked in AIBE Test.
    • The total weightage of the questions paper would be 100 marks; question paper will have two sections, Part I & Part II.

    • Go through the AIBE exam pattern and syllabus, carefully before starting with your preparations. Make a list of all the topics that will be asked in the exam and get the best-recommended books for the same.

    Ques. How many papers are there in Aibe exam?

    Ans. AIBE Exam will be conducted in 11 languages. AIBE Exam will include a total of 100 questions in 19 different law topics of undergraduate level.

    Ques. What is the pass mark in AIBE?

    Ans. Applicants of general and OBC category must have scored a minimum of 40 marks. Applicants of SC/ST category must have scored a minimum of 35 marks.

    Ques. What type of questions come in Aibe exam?

    Ans. AIBE Exam will include a total of 100 multiple-choice questions. Applicants will be required to fill in the OMR sheet.

    Ques. Is Aibe exam tough?

    Ans. AIBE exam has a diffuculty level of moderate, as per the previous years paper analysis. Applicants are required to score the minimum marks to quallify for the exam. 

    Ques. Is there minus marking in AIBE?

    Ans. No, there are no negative marking for AIBE Exam. Applicants are awarded 1 mark for every correct answer. 

    Ques. What happens after clearing AIBE?

    Ans. After clearing AIBE Exam, applicants will be awarded with Certificate of Practice. Using this certificate, applicants will be able to practice law in court.

    Ques. What happens if I dont clear AIBE?

    Ans. Applicants who don’t clear AIBE Exam will still be able to work as a provisional advocate in state court. Applicants can attempt the exam later.

    Ques. Is AIBE Exam mandatory?

    Ans. Yes, law graduates who want to practice law must attempt and clear AIBE Exam. Applicants must have passed graduate course in law to be eligible for applying to the exam.
