The placements are perfect for mining engineering. Usually, the students have a choice for finance, marketing, analyst, coding, etc. Many students prepare for CAT and go to the IIM after pursuing mining engineering. As most of the software companies are open for placement to all the branches a lot of the students practice computer programming skills and choose software job profiles too.

The placement statistics for mining engineering at IIT BHU for 2019 show a total of 85 students got placed. The average salary package offered ranged between 10 LPA to 58 LPA.
