The registration process for BTC admission 2023 in top colleges is done in June. Most of the universities grant BTC admission on the basis of merit in class 10, 12 and graduation. The eligibility criteria to seek BTC admission is to complete graduation from a recognized university.

BTC admission in Uttar Pradesh is done via UP BTC counseling. UP BTC 2023 application forms will open in June 2023 and the UP BTC admission 2023 will be done on the basis of merit in classes 10, 12 and graduation.

Basic Teachers Course is a certificate-level program recognized by NCTE, Government of India in the education stream. BTC is a 2-year full-time course divided in 4 semesters. Even though it is a full-time program, some colleges offer the part time Basic Teachers Course. One can also pursue this course through distance education. This course is suitable for students who want to make a career in the teaching field.

  • Admission to this course is based on the merit marks of students in qualifying exams. 
  • However, universities in Gujrat and Uttar Pradesh conduct state-level counseling to offer Gujarat and UP BTC Admission. 
  • Candidates need to fulfill the basic eligibility criteria of colleges and qualify the entrance exam to get admission in course.

UP BTC 2023: DElEd Application Form

  • Uttar Pradesh Basic Training Certificate (UP BTC) is now replaced by DElEd.
