Bachelor of Technology (Printing Technology) is a 4 years undergraduate course that deals with printing press operations, design and creation. At present, printing technology is non-impact and mostly makes use of computers. Printing Technology is the combination of various skills such as scientific, technical & artistic. It is a part of the mass communication process which involves various skills such as technical skills that hold prime importance.
It is divided into a total of 8 semesters i.e. 2 semesters per year and each semester takes 6 months to complete. An individual has to prepare for both practical and theory exams that are held at the end of each year.
Printing is a process for reproducing text and images, typically with ink on paper using a printing press. It is often carried out as a large-scale industrial process and is an essential part of publishing and transaction printing. The course is solely dedicated to the management of the jobs concerned with printing in a printing press.
Candidates who completed (10+2) level in science stream with subjects Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from a recognized board with a minimum score of 50%. Admission is done through BTech Entrance Exams such as JEE (Mains), JEE (Advanced), and more.
