MKSSSMKMM Facilities

The MKSSSMKMM is located on a huge area of land and has a peaceful and vibrant atmosphere all around. A wide range of academic and non-academic activities, for instance, Sports Events, Cultural Fests, and NSS Training is conducted regularly. 

The college location in Satara further gives the privilege to individuals to rejuvenate and refresh themselves by visiting places like Thoseghar Waterfall, Sajjangad, Chalkewadi Windmill Farms, Kaas Pathar - Valley of Flowers, and Kaas Lake, etc. Cited below are some of the key facilities the institution has on its premises. 

Advanced Classrooms: The MKSSSMKMM has highly ventilated, spacious, well-managed, and technology-enabled lecture halls on its campus. All the classrooms are equipped with multimedia projectors, smart boards, audio-video devices, comfortable seating arrangements, and the Internet. The end intent is to boost the productivity of students and help teachers deliver the course content in the best way possible.

Computer Laboratory: This facility is an integral part of the institution and has the latest computer systems with required configurations and software installed on each. Apart from this, a Wi-Fi facility is available here and smart boards are used for teaching. Students can access the internet for tasks like course practicals, do online research, complete assignments, and make presentations during college hours. The institution has also offered MKCL KLiC certificate courses to all students since 2016.

Well-equipped Virtual Classrooms are also there on campus for conducting guest lectures, workshops, and other co-curricular activities. 

Sports: To keep the young minds physically fit and mentally healthy, a dedicated Sports Cell has been formed in college. The key objective is this cell is to encourage students for physical and mental exercises essential for their fitness and help them learn leadership skills, teamwork, problem-solving, etc. 

Additionally, various inter-collegiate sports tournaments under the banner of SNDT University and MKSSS Samsthas are organized. During these events, individuals take part in a plethora of indoor and outdoor sports activities like Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, Athletics, Yoga, Surya Namaskar, Badminton, Chess, Table Tennis, Tug of War, Basketball, Volleyball, Football, and Cricket.

Gym: This facility aims at fulfilling the fitness needs of students and staff members. Equipment like a Leg press machine, Seated curl machine, Barbell, Dumbbell, Treadmill, Abdominal roller, Resistance band, Exercise bicycle/fitness cycle, Chest press machine, and Bench press are available here.

Medical: To deal with any kind of medical emergency related to students or staff members, enough arrangements have been made by the college. When in need, individuals can avail First Aid facility.

Library: There is a wonderfully developed, and state-of-the-art Knowledge Center on the college premises. The aim is to inculcate reading habits in students and help people in their projects and research work by making available a vast collection of learning resources. The library is home to 6000 Textbooks, Reference Books, Competitive exams Books, Novels, and Literature, etc. In addition, there are newspapers, magazines, 6000+ journals, and 1,99.500+ e-books. KOHA Software is used for managing all the operations of the library. 

Multipurpose Hall: A multi-purpose hall also exists in college and is used during events for instance guest lectures, workshops, webinars, seminars, and training programs. This space has everything including a public speaking system, projectors, internet connectivity, audio-video systems, etc. It also has a seating capacity of 500 people.
