Saintgits Design School Courses

The Saintgits Design School offers a full-time and 48-month duration Bachelor of Design course at the Undergraduate level. Cited below are the details for the same. The key objective of the course is to blend science, technologies, art, and various other domains using innovative pedagogical methods. Each semester of the course is divided into 20 weeks with 6–8 courses and every course then takes 2–4 weeks to get completed. Classes, of a maximum 1-hour duration are conducted daily in audio-visual format and without extensive use of textbooks. Ques. What is the admission process at SDS Kerala?

Ans. Firstly, candidates are shortlisted after successful registration and submission of the application form and then they need to appear for an online Design Aptitude Test conducted by the SDS Kerala. Saintgits Design Aptitude Test (SDAT) is conducted a few times a year and it generally has three parts:

  • Design Aptitude Exam: The weightage of this exam is 30% and the duration is 1 hour. Also, multiple-choice questions are asked from students to assess their general knowledge, analytical ability, and writing and drawing skills. Candidates are requested to bring their pens, pencils, eraser, ruler, sketch pens, and colored pencils.
  • Studio Test: The weightage of this test is 30%. Here students are required to make a product in an hour. using the provided material.
