Saintgits Design School Campus Facilities

The Saintgits Design School has a huge, culturally vibrant, and positive campus along with all basic to modern facilities, to assist students and faculty members in their academic and co-curricular tasks. Apart from this, the special teaching-learning and communication ambiance developed by management people allows young and experienced minds to easily collaborate and share innovative ideas. Below mentioned are some of the avant-garde amenities the institution has for its students and staff members.

Modern Studios cum Classrooms: All the lecture halls of Saintgits Design School are very commodious, and well-ventilated and are called Studios in general. This kind of setup has been built so that classes for various subjects can be conducted smoothly by making the best use of audio and video aids. Projectors are also available in each class and internet connectivity further helps teachers to deliver concepts using PPT and pre-recorded videos.

Maker Space: This space has been developed by the institution for students to replicate classroom learning in a real-world scenario. Each individual also gets to learn how to handle clay, Plaster of Paris, Thermocol, Wood, Plastics, and other materials. Machines are added here from time to time based on the course requirements. 

Resource Centre: SDS also has a Resource Center cum Library, where a plethora of textbooks and reference books related to Design, Art, and Crafts, are available along with a few magazines on Design and current affairs, and newspapers. Multiple computer systems are installed for students' use and they can even avail printing and scanning facilities.

Cafe: The health of students and staff members always remains the top priority of the college. Therefore, a full-fledged and aesthetic Cafe has been established to provide freshly prepared, delicious, and wholesome meals, snacks, tea, juices, and ice-creams to everyone at an affordable price. The campus has a few other canteens to fulfill students' hunger pangs.

Stationery Store: There is a well-equipped stationery store on the SDS Campus from where students can purchase their daily needs of paper, art, and craft materials.

Hostels: To provide a home-like environment to students away from their homes so that everyone can comfortably pursue their dreams, separate accommodation facilities have been built by the college for both girls and boys. And while the girls' hostels are within the campus, boys' hostels are at a walkable distance. All the facilities are available in these hostels ranging from spacious and clean rooms, mess, recreational space, and wifi facility.

Computer Center: To make students digitally proficient and assist them in project and research work by making the best use of internet resources, a new-gen Computer Center has been established on campus. All computer systems have the required software and are connected through high-speed internet connectivity. Both students and faculty use this lab to research on the internet, learn innovative teaching methodologies, and keep course content up-to-date with the latest trends and developments of the industrial world. 

Auditorium: A cutting-edge, and futuristic Auditorium has been developed on campus by the SDS to allow the smooth conduction of events like guest lectures, workshops, webinars, seminars, and training programs. Also, through these events, students not only get to interact with corporate’s top-notch leaders of various industries but can also showcase their unique talents and develop much-needed skills.
