Eligibility For Indian Applicants:

• Pass with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks or equivalent grades prescribed by UGC in the master's degree* (2-year/4-semester master’s degree programme after a 3-year bachelor’s degree Programme#) or equivalent in the relevant subject + LPUNEST + Interview
• Candidate who has completed 1-year/2-semester master's degree* programme after a 4-year/8-semester bachelor’s degree is also eligible provided the candidate should have a minimum of 75% marks in 4-year/8-semester bachelor’s degree in aggregate or its equivalent grade on a point scale wherever the grading system is followed
• A relaxation of 5% marks or its equivalent grade may be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/Differently-Abled, Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and other categories of candidates as per the decision of the Commission from time to time.
• M.Sc./MS (with Zoology other relevant branches of Life Sciences) or equivalent

Eligibility for International Applicants:

(All Applicants shall fulfill the English Language Requirement (ELR)
a) English as a subject in 10th or higher qualification OR
b) Qualfying Exam in English Medium (need proof from student)
OR
c) IELTS / TOEFL / Cambridge English Certf.

• Pass with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks or equivalent grades prescribed by UGC in the master's degree* (2-year/4-semester master’s degree programme after a 3-year bachelor’s degree Programme#) or equivalent in the relevant subject, subject to approval of Research Proposal + online Interview + ELR
• Candidate who has completed 1-year/2-semester master's degree* programme after a 4-year/8-semester bachelor’s degree is also eligible provided the candidate should have a minimum of 75% marks in 4-year/8-semester bachelor’s degree in aggregate or its equivalent grade on a point scale wherever the grading system is followed

Note:- For Part Time programme candidate must have minimum 2 years of teaching/ industry experience at the time of submitting application.

• M.Sc./MS (with Zoology other relevant branches of Life Sciences) or equivalent

Research specialization available: Toxicology, Entomology, Preventive Toxicology, Dye toxicology and its adsorption
