Selection criteria:
- Admission is given on the basis of marks scored in metric and higher secondary exams. There are two ways to get admission either into the first-year diploma or direct admission into the second year. The eligibility, seats, and admission for both are different.
- All the students with following qualification criteria may apply for First Year Admission to Diploma. 10th pass with minimum 35% marks.
- 12th pass with Science subject are also eligible for admission to first year & exemption in few subject are awarded. Admission will be done on the basis of 10th result.
- All the students with following qualification criteria may apply for Second Year Admission to Diploma.
- 12th Vocational/Technical with Science is eligible for direct admission to second year of their respective Vocational Technical subjects as per DTE guidelines. (Open Category 50%, Reserve Category 45%)I.T.I./MCVC pass students in various trades are also eligible for admission to Direct Second year Diploma Courses in their respective equivalent branch as per DTE guidelines (Min. 60%)
How to apply?
- Student can get the admission either through ILQ (Institute Level Quota) or thru CAP (Central Admission Process).
- For ILQ admissions ,Students are advice to visit the Institute Admission cell.
- All admission under ILQ are considered as open and therefore no scholarship concession would be given to the students under ILQ. CAP admissions are governed by DTE and for details students shall visit DTE web site www.dte.org for more details.
Admission Period:
- Immediately after declaration of 10th and class 12 results the notification for CAP will get displayed on the web site of DTE for CAP admissions. For ILQ admissions student shall visit the Institute in the first week of June.
