Government Polytechnic Koratla was founded in the year of 2008 and the college is situated near NH63 towards the Jagital Road which is very close to D40 canal. The college offers two diploma courses in the Engineering arena. The college aims to impart quality education by meeting the requirement of industry and society to achieve excellence in teaching for shaping the professionals. The college believes in reinforcing the educational performance of the students along with the extra- curricular activities to build the overall character of the students in a stronger way. There is no much scope for placements here.

Government Polytechnic Koratla Admission

At Government Polytechnic Koratla, the mode of application is online through TS POLYCET. This TS POLYCET is a common entrance test conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Telangana. 

The Eligibility criteria that each candidate need to ensure before appearing in TS POLYCET are as follows:

  • Candidate should be a citizen of India.
  • Candidate should belong to the state of Telangana as mentioned in the G.O (P) no 646 education department in subsequent amendment.
  • Candidate should have passed S.S.C or any other examination recognised and equivalent by Board of Secondary Education of the state of Telangana.
  • Candidate should have scored at least 35% in the maths, physics, and chemistry subjects from any recognised board equal to S.S.C by Telangana.
  • Candidate who has appeared or appearing for SSC or equivalent examination to be held in March /April 2020, and if the exams results are yet not declared, then all of these candidates can apply for the entrance.
