New Institute of Technology, Kolhapur (Formerly known as NPK) is a government-unaided diploma and degree college, affiliated to the Maharashtra State board of Technical Education, Mumbai and Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University, Lonere. The college is located in Kolhapur, Maharashtra. Established in 1983 under Shri Prince Shivaji Maratha Boarding House, New Institute of Technology is approved by the AICTE, New Delhi, DTE Mumbai, the Government of Maharashtra, Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education, and All India Survey on Higher Education (AISHE). It is also NBA accredited and provides an all-around experience for the students in terms of both academics and extracurriculars. The institution has also received certifications from the Innovation Council and the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC).
New Institute of Technology offers BTech and Diploma courses in a wide range of specializations. Direct Second Year (Lateral-Entry) admission is also available for both the courses.
