Light and Life Academy is a private institute established in 2001. It is India’s first institute of professional photography.

Light and Life Academy provides 4 full-time courses, PG Diploma in Professional Travel, Nature & Wildlife Photography and Documentary Filmmaking, Professional Architecture & Interior Photography and Documentary Filmmaking, Professional Food & Beverage Photography and Documentary Filmmaking, Professional Fashion Photography and Documentary Filmmaking.
The students can enroll on the website www.llacademy.org and admissions are open for all on a First Come First serve basis.
There is no last date to apply for admissions. Once the seats are filled, admissions are closed.
New batches begin in the month of September and end in August.
Admission is open to any graduate (with a minimum of 15 years of formal education), who is over 20 years of age.
Admissions are based on Personal Interview conducted by the campus itself.

Applicants must have acquired a minimum of 15 years of formal education in any subject with a bachelor’s degree.
Candidates should be at least 20 years of age.
In rare cases, exceptions will be made at the discretion of management, for those who have not completed a UG degree, but have substantial work experience.

The selection is done on the first come first serve basis and the applicants have to cross the three-step process-
1. Online Application Review by Light & Life Academy.
2. Online Interview with a member of the academics team
3. Personal interview on campus with Director(s).

Step 1: Fill out the online application form.
The following documents are needed during the application process. All files uploaded to be under 1 MB.
a) Profile Picture: Digital file of a recent passport-size photograph against a plain background(Note: ‘Selfies’ not accepted)
b) Digital copies(PDF/Jpeg) of Educational certificates.
c) Reference letters (Optional).
d) Portfolio: 20 images made by the candidate.
Note: Once the application process has been initiated, the form can be accessed by using the unique URL sent to your email id.
Step 2: Complete online payment of the application fee. The application process is complete upon payment of INR 2500/- + GST.
Once step 1 & step 2 are completed, you will be informed about the next step within 2 working days.
