The admissions are done by the CAP process ( Centralised admission procedure). The candidate has to go through following steps to obtain admission.

  • The candidates have to collect Information brochure & Application form from the Institute office by paying 400 INR for open and 300 INR for category candidates.
  • The candidates can also visit http://www.dtemaharashtra.gov.in/Main20-21.html for filling online application form. 
  • The Candidates can edit/update the information in application form before confirming it at any of the Facilitation Centre.
  • The General Category candidates from Maharashtra State, Outside Maharashtra State (OMS),Union Territory of J & K and Ladakh Migrant candidates have to pay 400 INR through online mode .
  • The Reserved Category Candidates [SC, ST, VJ/DT NT(A) , NT(B) ,NT(C) , NT(D), OBC, SBC, SEBC and EWS] have to pay 300 INR through online mode .
  • Candidates are required to Upload scanned images of valid necessary original documents as per the requirement of the admission while filling the online application form.
  • Then the Candidates must verify the data filled and correct it, if required before printing the submitted application form and signing it.
  • The candidate then has to go through Document Verification at Facilitation Centre through the method prescribed by the Competent Authority. The candidate has to produce all original documents in support of the claim made in the application form.
  • After completing the following steps the candidate has to wait until a final provisional list is displayed through the method prescribed by the Competent Authority.
  • Candidates have to fill preferences of Institutes and Courses in decreasing order of their preference as specified by Competent Authority.The option form once confirmed shall be considered for allotment in the respective CAP Rounds.
  • The Authority will display Category wise Seats (Seat Matrix) available for CAP Rounds. The competent authority shall publish the information on the website about institutes, courses offered, Sanctioned intake and number of seats available for each category before each round.
  • Provisional Allotment of respective CAP Rounds indicating allotted institute and Course will be displayed.
