The student should register, apply and appear for the JEE main exam.
Once the results are announced, it will be converted to an NTA score based on the requirement.
Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will handle the process of counseling and seat allocation.
The allocation of seats is completely based on the merit score and the rank secured.
Initially, there will be mock seat allocation to get a preview of the process.
