Admissions to all courses are done on the basis of merit in the qualifying government entrance examination conducted by CEE. This examination is generally a computer-based test.

How to apply?

  • Visit the official website of Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (www.cee.kerala.gov.in). Locate and click on one of the following options as appropriate:
  • Integrated Five-year LL.B course 2020 - Online Application
  • Three-year LL.B course 2020 - Online Application
  • LLM course 2020 - Online Application
  • Complete the one-time online registration process as required. Fill in the necessary basic data and create a strong password during the registration process. 
  • Pay the Application Fee. Two payment methods are available for remitting the application fee: online Payment and e-Challan. 
  • Upload the images and certificates as required. This includes one passport size photograph, the signature of the candidate on white paper, and the other documents asked for. 
  • Print the confirmation page. Candidates are advised to keep a soft copy and printout of the confirmation page for future reference.
  • After the period earmarked for registering options, the options will be processed and the allotment for all courses will be published on the website, on the date notified by the CEE. 
  • The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations shall conduct the spot allotment/ admission for filling up the remaining vacant seats, if any, after the completion of the online allotment process.

Note:  The Admit Card can be downloaded from the website of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations. Admit Cards will not be sent by post from this office. The date of issue will be notified later.

Ques. Is there any fee concession?

Ans. Yes.  Students belonging to SC/ST/OEC eligible for educational concessions are exempted from payment of fees as per orders of Government issued. Students belonging to all communities admitted to the course and whose annual aggregate family income does not exceed INR 1,00,000 are eligible for fee concession for which they should apply. They shall produce a certificate in the prescribed form, from the competent authority regarding income, at the time of interview. Their admission will be provisional and subject to the submission of a formal filled up application for fee concession in the prescribed form within one month from the date of admission. In any case, if the student is later found to be ineligible for concession, the student should pay the fees in full with fine or else his/her admission will be canceled. 

Ques. What are the required documents while applying for admission online?

Ans. The documents required while applying are listed below:

  • Nativity Proof
  • Certificate to prove age: Relevant page of SSLC/Birth Certificate/Passport 
  • Certificates obtained from Tahsildar for verification of community in the case of SC/ST candidates.
  • Non-Creamy Layer Certificate [for State Education purpose only] in the prescribed format in original from the concerned Village Officer for community reservation/fee concession claims in the case of SEBC/OEC candidates. 
  • Inter-Caste marriage certificate: Candidates who are children of Inter-Caste married couples of whom one is SC/ST, need to upload an Inter-Caste marriage Certificate issued by Tahsildar. 
  • Certificate from the District Medical Board for Persons with Disabilities. 
  • Any other document mentioned in the Notification of the Entrance Examination

Ques. What should be done after receiving admission online?

Ans. Post allotment, the candidate must report to the college on the advised date for a personal interview and verification of documents. The documents required to be produced at the time of admission include:

  • Candidate’s Data Sheet. 
  • Allotment memo issued by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations. 
  • SSLC or any relevant school records/ birth certificate/ passport/ other valid document to prove the date of birth in the original.
  • Original Mark list and Pass Certificate of the qualifying examination.
  • Transfer Certificate and Conduct Certificate from the institution where the candidate studied last. 
  • Four copies of recent passport size photographs. 
  • The applicant who is employed or trainee in Government/ Quasi-Government/Banks etc. shall, at the time of the interview, produce a relieving order and a certificate of good conduct from the Head of the Institution where the candidate was employed. 
  • Eligibility Certificate if applicable.
  • Migration certificate if applicable
  • Originals of all the uploaded documents/certificates
  • Any other certificates/documents required to be furnished as per the notifications

Ques. Can candidates take admission under sports quota?

Ans. Yes. Candidates seeking admission under the sports quota must also take the Entrance Examination. They should submit the online application to the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Thiruvananthapuram and the printout of the application should be sent to ‘The Secretary, Kerala State Sports Council, Thiruvananthapuram-695001’ before the last date of submission of application. The Kerala State Sports Council will allot marks to these candidates according to their proficiency in sports.
