LPU- DISTANCE EDUCATION DETAILED REVIEW

What I Liked

The thing that I liked the most in Lpu distance mode is that it's affordable as there are many middle class students who can't afford to study in such an expensive university so in this way we get quality education and degree but in affordable fees.
Teaching methods are excellent, Even in online mode we get quality education, online classes, notes, ppts etc. Professors always answers our doubts. During online classes professors asks us questions too. Explanations are very well given.
In LPU distance mode, we get opportunity to choose where we want to give our exams within Punjab. We can choose either main campus that is in Jalandhar or we can choose any other city in Punjab. In those cities various exam centers are set in schools
In LPU you're allowed to enter LPU campus in Jalandhar whenever you want with your ID card even if you're from distance mode. You're also encouraged to take part in various sports and cultural events held there.
In LPU distance education, you get so many jobs and internships opportunities. I recently got a four month internship in an IT company in Noida.

What I didn’t like

One thing I dislike about LPU distance is that I don't get to live and enjoy " The LPU campus college life" but that was also my own decision to take admission in distance mode so can't really complaint but yes in regular mode, you would enjoy more
Sometimes in online classes we get glitches which makes a normal class a little difficult.
One of the biggest thing that i dislike about Lpu distance mode is that they provide classes a month before our exams, education quality is really good in classes but quantity is a lot less.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are done in last semesters but even before that we get lots of opportunities for internships and jobs, various job and interships offers are being posted in our portals, we can simply apply for it, give interview and then after that it depends on our interview. My plans after degree is to get masters degree, I'm not taking placement here but till then i'm going to do a few internships for experience and real world knowledge. . I recently got a 4 month internship from an IT company. That internship offer was given in my University portal by my university. This internship doesnt pay very good but it allows me to learn things about my tech industry by doing hands on projects.

Internships Opportunities:

There are so many companies that offer an internship or a job in LPU. Even for us distance students there are a lots of opportunities. Some of the companies are Springworks, Qlikmatrix, Chetu.inc, Us tech Solution inc etc. They all offer stipend or salaries upto 4 to 11 lpa. Some of these held their interviews virtual and some of these companies held their interviews on the campus. I recently joined an internship so i havent done much as of now.
