Kurukshetra University was established in 1956 in Haryana and is a part of the Association of Commonwealth Universities. The university offers a total of 35 UG and PG courses under the wing of the department of distance education (DDE) while also offering lateral entry programs that include a diploma in many different branches.
The courses offered range from traditional ones like BA, B.Com, and M.A in several different fields to other less conventional courses like environmental education courses. Moreover, Kurukshetra University even offers several PG programs like the PGDCA, PDGEMM, and PGDJMC among many others.
