Trident Academy of Creative Technology (TACT) was established in 1997. It is affiliated to Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Odisha and is approved by AICTE, New Delhi.

TACT, Bhubaneswar offers MCA as the flagship course. Applicants are selected for admission depending upon the score in OJEE exam followed by the Counselling.

Apart from MCA, it also provides admission in MBA course. Selection of candidates is based on the OJEE/CAT/XAT/MAT/CMAT/ATMA score.

The minimum requirement for the course is as follows:

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates)
Further, they must have passed in Mathematics at 10+2 level or at the Graduate level. (NOTE - Business Mathematics at +2 level is not permitted)
Candidates who have passed BCA with Mathematics may appear for the entrance test without Mathematics at 10+2 level.
There is no age limit to apply for MCA course.

Eligibility for Lateral Entry

Candidates must have passed Bachelor’s degree in BCA, B. Sc (IT/ Computer Science) with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/St candidates).
Also, they must have passed in Mathematics at 10+2 level or at the Graduate Level. (NOTE - Business Mathematics at +2 levels is not permitted.)
There is no age limit to apply for admission in 2nd year of MCA under Lateral Entry.

How to Apply for Trident Academy of Creative Technology?

To apply for Trident Academy of Creative Technology, candidates need to fill the application form through OJEE portal. The steps to apply are simple and one can find them below:

Visit the official website of OJEE.
Click on the “New Registration” link.
Select the desired course for which you want to apply.
Read the agreement and check the ‘I Agree’ block.
Now register with valid details and submit to proceed.
Login and fill the personal and academic details.
Create a password for logging in for the next time.
Click on the submit button.
Candidates will receive OTP at the registered number for locking choices.
Lock the choices.
Select “Edit Registration” in case of incorrect details or “Confirm Submissions” to proceed.
After the mock allotment, log in for counselling registration.
Now pay the counselling fee of INR 450/-.
Lock the choices and click on the “Save and Continue” button.

Trident Academy of Creative Technology Scholarships

The Government of India and Odisha offers various Scholarships to MCA and MBA students. Candidates can check all the Scholarships below:

National Scholarship - This scholarship is awarded to the student whose family income is less than INR 4.50 LPA and further who have obtained a merit in OJEE exam. The Government of India offers INR 10,000/- per annum to such students.
Medhabruti Scholarship - This scholarship is awarded by the Government of India to meritorious students for their post matric studies. The rate of scholarship is INR 10,000 LPA for Professional Technical. However, it is INR 12,000 LPA for special Girls Merit.
Prerana - This scholarship is offered to candidates belonging to SC/ST category. Such candidates must have obtained 50% in the qualifying exam and their family income should not exceed INR 1 lakh for OBC and INR 2 lakhs for SC/ST.
