A candidate is declared eligible for the M.C.A. programme, if he/she has passed the degree examination of a recognized University with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (Open Category) and 45% marks (Reserved Category in Maharashtra only). In addition they need to have taken Maths or Statistics as a subject at the 10+2 level or at Graduation.
