After completion of 2nd sem college will start the placement activities are there. They arrange the placement training also in college. For placements no backlog are needed, if you have backlog you cant seat over there.
College provides internship opportunities for students. Most of MNC, LSDB, Omniscient, Accenture, CPC, Walmart, TCS, TATA Consultancy, Mahindra, Bajaj, etc multiple companies are provide internship through college.

Sinhgad Institute of Management - [SIOM]: 2 answered questions
IIM Trichy, Ranchi, Raipur, Udaipur, Kashipur, and Rohtak are way ahead of SIOM and SIBM-B. The average package at these new IIMs is greater than INR 11 LPA whereas the lowest packages at these institutes are around INR 6.5-7.5 LPA. You will be astonished to know that the lowest package at these IIMs is almost equal to the average package at SIOM and SIBM-B.
Moreover, IIMs is in itself a brand and therefore promises better growth. This is the reason that these new IIMs despite their early establishment are at par with SIBM-Pune and SCMHRD.
PIBM, Pune, and Sinhgad Institute of Management are some of the top reputed B-schools in India. Both the colleges mentioned above have their own advantages and disadvantages but it entirely depends on your capabilities.
However, if you have to choose a college, go for PIBM. For my sister’s admission, we visited both colleges but she was not satisfied with the curriculum. Hence, if you want to look at the colleges at the same level, you can opt for the following colleges:
- Pune University (PUMBA) - It has the lowest fees for which the ROI will be good. PUMBA has an excellent faculty.
- Indira Institute of Management Pune - It has an amazing brand value. The companies participating in their placement drive offered an average salary package ranging from 8-9 LPA.
- PIBM and Sinhgad - Both are good colleges but their fees are comparatively higher than usual. ROI is average. As the salary package offered ranges from 3-4 LPA.
Finally, it is up to you and where your preferences lie. Make a list of what you are looking for in a management college, compare them, and then come to a conclusion. This choice will shape your career ahead.
