Candidates seeking admission can register themselves for IIRs Entrance Exam by visiting the official website. Whereas, the candidates seeking admission in PG Diploma courses and Sponsored courses, must download the application form from the official website.

• Go to the Academic Programs tab followed by the Application Form page.
• Login/Register
• Enter your personal details.
• Enter your address details.
• Enter your education details.
• Enter other details.
• Upload Photo, ID & Signature.
• Select Course
• Submit the application form.

Application Fee: For only M.Tech. - Rs. 1,000/- (USD 100 for foreign nationals); For both M.Tech. and P.G. Diploma - Rs. 1,500/- (USD 150 for foreign nationals). Govt.-sponsored candidates must submit 

The Post Graduate Diploma programme is offered in Remote Sensing & GIS in 9 specializations for a period of 1 years, consisting of three modules. The first module is common to all the participants, which deals with Geospatial Technologies focusing on Fundamentals of Remote Sensing & Photogrammetry and Basics of GIS. In the second module, the participants will be exposed to application of geospatial technologies in their respective specialisations. Participants will carry out a pilot project in the third module. 

The total intake for PG DIploma is 48 seats.

Indian Institute of Remote Sensing PG Diploma Selection Criteria

Selection for admission to PG Diploma course is based on the Entrance Test. Govt.-sponsored candidates are exempted from the entrance test. Foreign candidates are also exempted from entrance test but they have to appear for interview through online platforms.
