Eligibility
For both MBA and international MBA, the eligibility criteria for the candidates is securing a minimum of 55% marks in 10+2 examination/secured top percentile in the entrance examination. College gives 5% relaxation in marks during admission for reserved groups of students.
Selection Criteria
The aspirants will have to qualify the CAT/ XAT entrance test to assure admission in MBA courses. Admission to MBA is a three-step selection process as follows:
- Candidates are selected based on marks scored in the national entrance test. Based on the merit list, students are selected for the counselling process which results in their admission.
- The candidates previously selected based on the cumulative score of the entrance exam and previous academic performance will progress for group discussion followed by personal interview.
- Out of the total percentage which is 100%, CAT score weighs about 50%, personal interview weighs about 30%, and academic scores weigh about 20%.
How to Apply for MBA?
Since the college offers an MBA course to both Indian and International students, the application processes also differ as discussed below.
For Indian Students Admission,
- Indian candidates can simply visit the official website and apply for the same.
- Candidates must pass the Common Aptitude Test (CAT)/ XAT with a minimum aggregate of 50% which can land them in the further admission process.
- Furthermore, Qualify further rounds like Group Discussion and Interview for final shortlisting.
For International Students Admission,
- International candidates must submit their passport, mark sheets, and other required details through mail to admission@hopkinscollege.com. Further, college officials will examine those documents and confirm their details. Later, the eligible students are contacted for the applied course.
- The selected foreign candidates will have to pay the registration fees in Indian Currency (INR) which is equal to 200 USD through Net Bank Transfer.
- Candidates will receive a mail from the college, which is required to be showed to the Indian Embassy for facilitating further Visa endorsement and formalities towards admission.
