Aside from B.Des, the institute also offers a B.FTech. in Apparel Production at the UG level for a duration of four years.

Eligibility Criteria

1. The candidate must have passed 10+2 examinations of any recognized board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. OR
2. He must hold a 3 or 4 years diploma in any branch of engineering recognized by AICTE. OR
3. He must have secured a pass grade in Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Open School with a minimum of five subjects with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
4. He must have cleared General Certificate Education (GCE) Examination (London/ Cambridge/Sri-Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics / International Baccalaureate (IB).

Note- The maximum age limit to apply for the course is 23 years as on 1st October. For candidates of Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, person with Disability category, there is a relaxation of 5 years.

Selection Criteria

The selection process to B.FTech comprises General Ability Test (GAT).

GAT (General Ability Test) for B.FTech is a written test of a total duration of 180 minutes and consists of 150 questions divided among several sections namely Quantitative Ability, Communication Ability & English Comprehension, Analytical & Logical Ability, General Knowledge and Current Affairs, Case Study.
