Choosing a college is a major decision, especially when you are going to spend nearly 5 years at the same place. My brother is from Doon Medical college so I am quite aware of the situation there.

Academics:

• The faculty is excellent and professors are from prestigious colleges with extensive experience. 
• You will get to learn a lot because patients from all over Uttarakhand visit the affiliated Doon Hospital, you gain a wealth of clinical knowledge.

Fun and Explore:

• If you're like someone who loves to go out, explore and eat, Dehradun is a lovely city. 
• You won't get bored easily with so many cafés and nearby places to visit.

Hostel and Infrastructure:

• In terms of the hostel and its infrastructure, some of it is still under construction. Both boys' and girls' hostels, faculty residences, and lecture theaters are there available on campus.
• The campus is built on a small plot of land, so there isn't much space. And there are only two batches here, so there are no college fests or other extracurricular activities. However, they do organize a Freshers Party for juniors.

That's all about this Institute. You can come here, but if you have other options, such as another well-known college, go there. It can be frustrating at times here.
