GVMC Vellore MS Eligibility
- Candidates must have completed MBBS degree or provisional MBBS pass certificate which is recognized as per the provisions of the Indian Medical Council Act 1956.
- Candidates should also possess a permanent/ provisional registration certificate of MBBS qualification issued by the Medical Council of India or State Medical Council.
- Candidates must have completed one year of internship. Candidate who is likely to complete the internship on or before March 31, 2020.
- In order to become eligible for counseling, candidates must have obtained a minimum 50 percentile (40 percentile for SC/ST/OBC (including PWD of SC/ST/OBC) and 45 percentile for UR PWD) in NEET PG.
GVMC Vellore MS Selection Criteria
- Admission to 50% of seats is through state counselling, conducted by The Directorate of Medical Education, Tamil Nadu, on the basis of rank/score obtained in NEET PG examination,
- Admission to 50% of seats is through All India counselling, conducted by Directorate General of Health Services, on the basis of rank/score obtained in NEET PG examination.
GVMC Vellore MS Cutoff
Aspirants are required to obtain minimum qualifying percentile marks in NEET PG 2020 entrance examination in order to qualify for further admission process.

How To Apply?
Candidates applying for Medical/Dental Colleges in Tamil Nadu can register themselves separately for the State and All India NEET PG counseling 2020. The counseling will consist of these steps.
- Visit the official website of NEET PG 2020.
- Register, fill the application form, pay, and submit the application.
- Appear for the examination
- Register to the official websites of State NEET counselling and All India NEET counselling.
- Choice Filling and Locking (Round 1): Choose the courses and colleges of your preference and finally lock-in the preferences in the online portal.
- Seat Allotment Result (Round 1): The seat allotment will be published online on the basis of available vacancies and candidate’s choices.
- Reporting to college: Those who will be allotted a seat in the first round, will be required to either reject the allotted seat or report to the allotted college and complete the admission formalities.
- New Registration (Round 2): For candidates who couldn’t register in the first round of counseling.
- Fresh Choice Filling and Locking (Round 2): Similar to round 1 mentioned above.
- Seat Allotment Result (Round 2): Similar to round 1 mentioned above.
- Reporting to college (Round 2): Here it is to be noted that, those who will be allotted a seat in the second round of counseling (50% AIQ Quota) will not be permitted to vacate their seats as per the orders made by the Supreme court of India.
