Rabindranath Tagore Medical College commonly known as RNT Medical College is situated in Udaipur, Rajasthan. Established in the year 1961, it is affiliated to the Rajasthan Institute of Health Sciences, Jaipur. The college was recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI) in the year 1966.

Rabindranath Tagore Medical college offers 150 seats in graduation, 12 seats in diploma courses and 109 seats in post-graduation. In addition to it, the college also provides DM course in Cardiology and M.Ch. in Neurosurgery/ CTVS departments.

The application form can be submitted either through online or offline mode.
For MBBS courses, candidates must have passed senior secondary examination in Physics, Chemistry & Biology or any other equivalent examination from a recognized board.
Candidates seeking admission to PG Diploma, MD and MS require an MBBS degree from any institute recognized by the Medical Council of India.
Admission to PG Diploma, MD and MS courses is completely based on the score in NEET PG.
For admission to DM & M.Ch courses, students must possess an MD or MS degree in related subjects.
For admission to the super specialty courses, the score of NEET SS is taken into consideration.
In case of Ph.D, candidates must possess a minimum of 55% marks in relevant PG degree.
Candidates are shortlisted for Ph.D. based on marks scored in entrance examination conducted by the university.

Rabindranath Tagore Medical College offers two super-specialty courses, namely, DM in Cardiology, M.Ch in Cardio-Thoracic Vascular Surgery and Neuro Surgery. Candidates seeking admission in these courses must have obtained an MD/ MS degree in the concerned areas of specializations from any recognized medical college. Selection to DM/ M.Ch courses is based on valid NEET SS score.

RNT Medical College Application Process 2023

Application forms can be submitted through both online and offline mode. Students can register online with the official website of the college. However, a separate registration with NEET UG/ NEET PG/ NEET SS is also required to appear for the respective entrance examination.

Online mode:

First, visit the official website and click on the online application form.
The Applicant must create a login ID and password with a valid email ID.
It is important to fill in the online application form carefully as form once submitted cannot be changed.
Upload the scanned passport size photograph along with the scanned image of the signature (not exceeding a file size of 30-35KB).
Submit the application form after filling in all the details in the college website.

Offline mode:

Candidates can obtain the prospectus and application from the admission office of the college.
Candidate should fill the application form correctly.
Affix the passport sized photograph at the designated places in the form.
Attach the supporting documents with the application form and submit it at the admission office.

What should be my choice from RUHS Jaipur RNT Udaipur and SN Jodhpur I am from Kota?

You should prefer RUHS Jaipur. It has a good hospital attachment. In terms of academics, infrastructure, co-curricular activities, etc. it is a good option. It is a new college but has a higher cutoff. RUHS has a locational advantage as well. Jaipur has better PG coaching centers. These are some of the reasons that make RUHS a better choice.
