Symbiosis Law School, Noida: Integrated Courses Admission 2023

Symbiosis Law School, Noida offers B.A.-LL.B. and B.B.A.-LL.B. Integrated degree courses. Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam with minimum 45% marks in aggregate from a recognized board.

Selection is done on the basis of Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET Law) conducted by the Symbiosis University. Based on SET Law Score, shortlisted candidates will be invited for Personal Interaction (PI) and Written Ability Test (WAT). The merit list will be prepared for all categories on the basis of SET Law Score (50%) and PI-WAT performance (50%).

The final Merit list will be based on the cumulative marks scored on the scale of 100 marks wherein SET Law score will be scaled down to 50 marks i.e. 50% and the remaining 50% weightage will be assigned to Personal Interaction (PI) - 30% and Written Ability Test (WAT) - 20%. Admission to all the courses is done on the basis of the final merit list.

Key Points:

All SC/ST candidates are eligible for the relaxation of 5%.
Appearing candidates who are awaiting results are also eligible to apply, subject to submission of passing certificate by the notified date.
The total seat intake is 180 seats, which includes 120 seats for BBA.LL.B. and 60 seats for BA.LL.B. courses.

Symbiosis Law School, Noida Selection Process

Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET Law) is a law entrance test conducted by Symbiosis National University for admission in the Law programs.

Symbiosis Law School, Noida Selection process has a total of two stages: SET and PI-WAT which consists of Personal Interaction (PI) and Writing Aptitude Test (WAT).
Candidates who will be shortlisted by Symbiosis Law School, Noida on the basis of SET Law Score will be called in for PI-WAT.
It is mandatory for the shortlisted Aspirants to appear for the all the tests of PI & WAT to be eligible for admissions.
The final merit list will be prepared on the scale of 100 marks by the Institute on the basis of marks scored in SET Exam and PI-WAT process.
SET Exam is scaled down to 50 marks (50%). Personal Interaction and Writing Ability Test is of 30 and 20 marks respectively.
Candidates who will attend all tests of selection process shall be considered as eligible for generation of the Merit List.
Aspirants who remain absent for any one of the tests will be considered as ineligible for admission process for any of the law program at SLS, Noida.
Admission to all the courses is done on the basis of the final merit list.

Symbiosis Law School, Noida: Application Process 2023

Symbiosis Law School, Noida application procedure is carried out in online mode. The applicant must register online for Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET Law). SET Law is a university level examination organized by the Symbiosis International University (SIU) for a total of 720 BA LLB and BBA LLB programmes offered in three law school of Symbiosis located in Pune, Noida and Hyderabad.

SET Application Process begins with the registration procedure. After the registration procedure is completed, candidates will enter the details required for the application form. Lastly, they have to make payment of SET Application Fee.

Here are the steps to apply to SET Law:

Go to the http://www.set-test.org/law-school-noida.html
Click on ‘New Registration’ link. Read the instructions and click on ‘I Agree’ button.
Fill in the details required such as Name, Gender, contact details, valid email id, mobile number, etc.
Click on ‘save and continue’ button.
Candidates will have to choose a password and hint question to recover the password.
Click on ‘Register’ button.
They will receive a confirmation of email id and password through email to their email address.
Once, the registration procedure is successful, candidates will have to fill in the Personal basic details like Gender, Blood Group, Date of Birth, category and NRI status, Present Address Details, Education Details
Applicants have to enter Symbiosis Law School, Noida in the “Institute Preference” tab.
They have to upload their passport size scanned photograph in .jpg, .jpeg or .gif format. The size of the image should not exceed more than 100 kb.
Click on the “Save and Continue” button.
After the SET Application Form is completed, candidates will be redirected to the Payment gateway where he/she will have to choose the mode of payment.
Students will have to pay INR 1500 as the Application Fee.
They can opt for either online mode of Payment or Offline mode of payment.
Online payment can be made by using the credit card (master card/visa card) or net banking.
Application Fee can also be paid in cash or demand draft, DD must be drawn in favour of “Symbiosis Test Secretariat”.

Remarks:

A slat exam happens. It consists of 60 questions in a time span of 60 minutes. Then selected students, who clear the cut-off score, are called for the PIWAT round. That is the written ability round and the Personal interview round.

Both Symbiosis Law Schools in Hyderabad and Noida have been established recently. They are on par when it comes to teaching quality, infrastructure, and facilities. There are various factors that need to be known before joining any college. Listed below are the details for both campuses of Symbiosis:

Admission Details

The admission process of both colleges is similar. Students have to sit for the college examination online to qualify for a seat.
Applicants need to sit for the SLAT for UG admissions and AIAT for LLM.
Students need at least 45% in their 12th for BBA courses and 50% for LLM.

Symbiosis Law School- Noida:

The course fee for BA and BBA courses is 3 lakhs per annum and for LLM is 1.6 lakhs per annum.
The total seats in Noida are 320 in which 20 seats are for LLM.

Symbiosis Law School- Hyderabad:

The course fee for BA and BBA courses is 2.64 lakhs per annum and for LLM is 1.84 lakhs per annum.
The total seats in Hyderabad are 250 in which 10 are for LLM.

Infrastructure

Symbiosis Law School- Noida:

SLS, Noida has all the necessary facilities. The library is updated with all the recent books and Book Bank facility.
It only provides hostel facilities for women.

SLS Hyderabad is situated a little bit away from the city but has an excellent infrastructure. Forests and greens surround the campus.

Symbiosis Law School- Noida:

The placement cell of SLS, Noida, provides an internship to every student.
The placement percentage is around 50%. The highest package is around 12 LPA, and firms like Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, Luthra and Luthra, and Trilegal visit for recruitment.

Symbiosis Law School- Hyderabad:

SLS, Hyderabad also has a placement cell that works endlessly to offer placements to its students.
