Globsyn Business School Scholarships are granted to students enrolling in its postgraduate management programmes based on their academic achievements. The objective of these scholarship programmes is to offer financial assistance to deserving students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, allowing them to pursue their post-graduate education at GBS Kolkata without the financial burden of tuition fees.\r\n\r\n

      GBS Kolkata Bikram Dasgupta Foundation Scholarship  \r\n\r\n

      Here are some details on GBS Kolkata Bikram Dasgupta Foundation Scholarship Scholarships. \r\n\r\n

      1.  No. of students: 7 (seven)\r\n\t
      2. Quantum of Scholarship: 100% fee waiver (except Admission Fee)\r\n\t
      3. Eligibility: Students with an exemplary academic track record, whose parents\u2019 or guardians\u2019 income falls below the criteria as specified under \u2018Parental Income Ceiling\u2019, will be eligible for the Bikram Dasgupta Foundation Scholarship. The minimum eligibility criteria is\r\n\t
          \r\n\t\t
        1. Qualifying Aptitude Exam (CAT\/MAT etc.) >= 80 percentile\r\n\t\t
        2. Graduation: >= 60%\r\n\t\t
        3. Class 12\/equivalent: >= 75%\r\n\t\t
        4. Class 10\/equivalent: >= 75%\r\n\t\t
        5. Other outstanding achievements (documentary proof required) \r\n\t\r\n\t\r\n\t
        6. Furthermore, the students awarded scholarships must maintain an academic CGPA >= 6.0 in all Semesters at GBS and actively participate in the institute\u2019s Beyond Education activities.\r\n\t
        7. The students\u2019 performance would be reviewed after every Semester for consideration to continue the fee waiver.\r\n\t
        8. Administration of Fee Waiver: All installments of a fee (except the initial Admission Fee) will be waived. If any installments have already been paid, these will be refunded after the due date of the last installment that would have normally been due.\r\n\r\n\r\n

          GBS Kolkata Outstanding Achievers Scholarships \r\n\r\n

          Here are some details on GBS Kolkata Outstanding Achievers Scholarships. \r\n\r\n

          1. No. of scholarships: 6 (three each in Sports and Arts)\r\n\t
          2. Quantum of Scholarship: INR 1,00,000 each\r\n\t
          3. Eligibility:\r\n\t
              \r\n\t\t
            1. For Sportspersons, the student must have been recognized by a prominent sports body\/association at the State or National level in any outdoor or indoor sporting event.\r\n\t\t
            2. In the Arts area, students achieving recognition or excellence from prominent bodies\/associations at the Regional or National level in any areas such as Debate, Quiz, Dance, Drama, etc. will be eligible.\r\n\t\t
            3. In addition, the students\u2019 parents\u2019 or guardians\u2019 income should fall below the criteria as specified under \u2018Parental Income Ceiling\u2019.\r\n\t\t
            4. Furthermore, the students awarded scholarships must maintain an academic CGPA >= 5.0 in all Semesters at GBS and actively participate in the institutes Beyond Education activities.\r\n\t\t
            5. The students\u2019 performance would be reviewed after every Semester for consideration to be eligible for a partial fee waiver.\r\n\t\t
            6. Administration of Fee waiver: The fee waiver will be applied in two parts. The first part 50% (i.e. INR 50,000\/-) will be reduced from the penultimate installment and the remaining 50% reduced in the last installment.\r\n\t\r\n\t\r\n\t
            7. Parental Income Ceiling: The parental income should be INR 8 lakh per annum for both categories of Scholarships. Students will have to furnish an income certificate or self-attested copy of the last income tax return for their parent\/guardian along with a copy of the Aadhar Card (or equivalent identification allowed by the Government) for both student and parent.\r\n\r\n\r\n
