Economically Backward Category (EBC) Students

Scheme Name: Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Shikshan Shulkh Shishyavrutti Yojna.

Overview: The objective of the Scheme is to provide financial assistance to the Economic Backward. Class who are admitted to Diploma / Degree / Postgraduate Professional courses through Centralized Admission Process (CAP).

Benefits: 50 % of Tuition Fees and 50 % of Exam Fee.

MMS, MCA Students admitted through CAP Round for the A. Y. 2019-20 & willing to take the benefit of Economic Backward Category (EBC) facility given by Govt. of Maharashtra are hereby informed to fill online EBC form for the A. Y. 2019-20 by opening the new Website: https://mahadbtmahait.gov.in and fill the form.

Eligibility Criteria: 
a) Applicant should have Nationality of India.
b) Candidate should be Domicile of Maharashtra State. 
c) Applicant should be ”Bonafide Student of Institute” and admitted for Professional and Technical course (Diploma / Graduation / Post Graduation Degree) as mentioned in GR 
d) Deemed University and Private university is not applicable
e) Candidate should be admitted through Centralized Admission Process (CAP). 
f) Applicant should not avail any other scholarship/stipend.
g) For current Academic Year, Only 2 child from family is allowed for benefit of scheme.
h) The Total Annual Income of Family / Guardian should not be more than 8 Lakhs.
i) Minimum 50 % attendance in the previous semester (Exception for fresh admitted in College). 
j) During course duration, the candidate should not have a gap of 2 or more than 2 years.

Eligibility :

1) The Parents/ Guardian annual income shall be less than or equal to Rs. 2,50,000.

2) Student category shall belong to Scheduled caste or Navbouddha

3) Student shall belong to resident of Maharashtra 

4) Student should be passed SSC/ equivalent Matric.

5) Only 2 professional Courses are allowed.

6) Students engaged in full-time employment are not eligible

7) Repeaters are not eligible for that standard
