MIDSR Latur is a well-known private college for dental science which was established in the year 2006. The Institute has been affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nasik and has also been approved by DCI. 

The college mainly offers BDS and MDS courses. To get admission here in the Bachelor of Dental Surgery, one has to pass the 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks and attain the age of 17 years. MIDSR Latur: Admission

Selection Criteria: 

The admission is based on the merit list of the common entrance test conducted by the Director of Dental Council of India, the competent authority in Maharashtra. MIDSR Dental College starts the admission process after it receives the merit list of the students from the competent authority.

About 15% of the students approaching for NRI or management quota are also selected based on the merit list. The list of the selected students is displayed on the notice boards.

MIDSR is blessed with some 13 faculty members. Among them, 4 are Readers in the dept. of Prosthodontics and Crown & Bridge, one HOD, one Professor cum Principal, and the rest are lecturers. The faculties are mostly MDS i.e., Masters in Dental Surgery. Only 4 lecturers possess a Bachelor’s degree in Dental Surgery. The faculties have earned their degrees from different Indian medical colleges.
