Admissions at Directorate of Distance & Continuing Education, Utkal University is either entrance-based or on a first come first serve basis.

Candidates for courses like BA (Hons), BCom (Hons), and MA are selected on the basis of first come first serve. Whereas, candidates for courses such as MBA, MCA, and M.Sc, etc.are selected on the basis of written tests followed by the interview process.

How to apply?

Students who wish to apply for the courses in the Utkal University may follow the below steps for the admission process:-

• The application form is accepted through online mode only.
• Candidates would need to register themselves online on the official website of the University.
• Applicants should fill all the necessary details like personal details, educational details, and other qualifications accurately.
• Once the candidates have filled the application form for the desired course; they would need to upload the photograph.
• Candidates must pay the application fees through the online mode of payment.
• The print out of the application form would need to be taken to send to the university along with the photocopies of the necessary documents.
• For the courses where the written test is not required, students can visit the campus for the spot admission to the course.
• Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria and documents verified can submit the registration fees for the admission to the course.
