Shivaji University (DDE) offers PG and UG courses with 15 specialization subjects. The college provides only Undergraduate courses in the various subjects of Arts. The eligibility criteria for each course are different as in the case of the PG course the minimum eligibility criteria are Graduation and BA course the minimum eligibility criteria is 10+2. The selection criteria for the MBA course are strictly based on the cut-off marks declared as per the marks of the entrance examination conducted by the University.
Interested candidates need to apply by filling up applications available on the university website. Candidates who desired to get admission in the BA distance mode course can apply with secured minimum eligibility criteria. For B.A. distance admission, the aspirants need to secure a minimum of 40% aggregate marks in the 10+2 examination. For M.Com, M.SC, M.A, and PG diploma course, the aspirant needs to secure minimum eligibility criteria with a 40% minimum aggregate.

Shivaji University was established in 1962, with a campus of 853 acres. The university started distance mode education and was recognized as Distance University in the year 2007.
