Admissions to KCDSH are done via counselling sessions undertaken by the MCC and Karnataka State. 15% of the All India Quota seats are allotted by the MCC and the rest of the 85% by the respective state.

How to Apply?

For All India Counselling

  • Candidates who have been given the “qualified” result for both NEET UG and NEET PG exams are eligible for counselling.
  • For the All-India Quota, candidates have to register themselves on the MCC website.
  • Depending on the counselling schedule released by the MCC, candidates have to show up for counselling and opt for their preferred institute/subject (for PG).
  • Candidates will be allotted seats according to their rank and choices.
  • Post allotment, the candidate can proceed to undertake admissions at the college.

For Karnataka State Counselling

  • Eligible candidates have to register themselves on the official website
  • Under the “Admissions” tab, they will find the UG NEET and PG NEET links for registration.
  • After registering themselves, candidates have to fill in the application form and pay the application fee.
  • Post submission of the form, candidates are advised to keep 2 printouts of the form for future reference.
  • Candidates will be called in for counselling depending on the schedule, and seats will be allotted based on merit and choice of college.
  • After allotment, candidates can proceed with final admissions.

  • Hostels: There are 4 boys’ hostels and 2 girls’ hostels on the campus, with an additional girls’ hostel under construction. These accommodate 640 boys and 300 girls. With round-the-clock security arrangements, the hostels also have various other facilities such as guest rooms, reading rooms, indoor games, and a gymnasium. 

  • Library: The KCDSH library consists of a vast collection of Indian and International standard textbooks and journals. Additionally, the digital section contains multiple E-journals. During exam season, the library functions outside the usual timings for convenience to students.

  • Transport: KCDSH makes travel easy for its students and faculty in different parts of the city by offering a fleet of college buses. Travel passes are issued to those who are interested.

  • Canteen: The KCDSH campus has a Canteen that offers both South Indian and North Indian dishes at reasonable rates. It remains open on all working days. For its proper functioning and upkeep, a committee consisting of staff, students, and trustees is responsible.

  • Clinic: The clinics are equipped with advanced equipment in diagnostics and treatment, including OPG, CBCT and other clinical tools, that is up to date with the current practice scenario. The institute has a 20 bedded hospital with a fully equipped OT and ICU, attached to the Dept of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.
