Higher Secondary Course (HSC)/CBSE/Equivalent-Academic Stream
Candidates who studied any one of the following groups are eligible to apply:

* Group I: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology
* Group II: Physics, Chemistry, Biology with any one of the following subjects as fourth (elective) subject viz., Biochemistry or Biotechnology or Microbiology or Home Science or Computer Science
* Group II (A): Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology

Higher Secondary Course (HSC)-Vocational Stream
* Biology and agricultural practices
