- Health Centre/Gymnasium: The University Health Centre/Gymnasium is functioning in the Karikalan Arangam. The gymnasium has is well equipped. For the benefit of students and staff, many medical camps are conducted. They include blood donation camps, eye camps, and AIDS awareness programs.
- Hostels: The Tamil University has both men and women hostels. These hostels are well furnished with basic and modem facilities.
- Student Grievance Cell: To look into the grievances of the students and research scholars a cell has been formed. This Cell will look after their grievances and find remedial measures.
- Women Harassment Redressal Cell: To take a proper look into the grievances of gender discrimination, a Women Harassment Redressal Cell is functioning. The cell conducts a periodical review of various issues relating to this.
