Tamil Nadu Physical Education and Sports University’s Directorate of Distance Education offers B.Sc. in various specializations. Apart from B.Sc., University also provides BBA in distance mode. The duration of all the bachelor degree programs is 3 years expect the lateral entry bachelor program for which duration is 2 years.

Selection in various programs of Directorate of Distance Education Tamil Nadu Physical Education and Sports University is merit-based. For all the bachelor degree courses the basic eligibility required is a 10+2 from a recognized board.

At postgraduate level, Directorate of Distance Education Tamil Nadu Physical Education and Sports University offers MBA, M.Sc., and M.Sc. (LE) courses in various specialization. The duration of MBA and M.Sc. programs offered in distance mode at postgraduate level is 2 years except for M.Sc. (LE) which is a 1-year course.

Admission to MBA is merit-based and the Candidate who has completed 10+2+3 from a recognized University with the least aggregate of 50% marks are eligible for admission. 

Admission to MSc. and M.Sc(LE) program is also merit-based and candidates with a 10+2+3 degree from a recognized board along with a diploma in relevant subject are eligible for admission.

Directorate of Distance Education Tamil Nadu Physical Education and Sports University also offers a postgraduate diploma in distance mode for the candidates who have completed 3 years of formal education after 10+2. The duration of the Post Graduate Diploma distance program is 1 year. Selection in the program is based on merit in the relevant subject.
