Eligibility Criteria
- The basic eligibility criteria for admission to B.E./ B. Tech programs is a pass in HSC or equivalent exam with minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics combined.
- Selection of candidates for the B.E/ B. Tech programs is done on the basis of 10+2 marks through TNEA counselling.
Selection Process
- Candidates must download the counselling call letter and visit the counselling venue on the assigned dates along with all relevant documents (original and photocopies) and a demand draft of INR 5000.
- Candidates are required to obtain a counselling form from the bank counters by showing his/her call letter and DD of the prescribed counselling fee.
- After that, in the supervision of a counsellor, candidates can choose college and course preferences

- Candidate is then offered an allotment order which needs to be signed by the applicant and the demand draft for counselling fee be submitted in order to complete the allotment process.
- Subsequently, the candidate must report at the college and submit the allotment order to confirm his/her admission.

- Candidates may apply for TNEA counselling by visiting the Anna University website and filling the online application/ registration form.
- The prescribed application fee for TNEA counselling can be paid online through various payment modes such as credit/ debit card, internet banking etc.
- Candidates must take a printout of the complete application form and send a copy of the same to the Director (Admissions), Anna University.
