Aspirants seeking admission to 4 years Full-time B.Tech. Course should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.

For Entry you need a pass in +2 (Hsc) or its equivalent exam, with the following % of average in the subjects of Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry.

• General Category (GC) - 50 %
• Backward Caste (including BC Muslim) - 45%
• Most Backward Community (MBC) & Denotified Community (DNC) - 40%
• Schedule Cast (SC) / Scheduled Caste Arunthathiyar (SCA) / Schedule Tribe (ST) - 40%
• SC / SCA / ST Candidates who have secured 35% to below 40% aggregate in the relevant subjects may also apply.

For NRI Candidates:

Candidate must be pass with Minimum average marks in the related subject as applicable(HSC Academic or Vocational)

• NRI (General Category)- 45%
• NRI (Reserved Category) - (BC/BCM/MBC/DNC/SC/SCA/ST) 40%
• Foreign Nationals (General Category) 45%

Entrance Exam:

Admission is done through TANCET / CET Entrance Examination.
