Symbiosis Institute of Business Management (SIBM), Hyderabad was established in 2014 under Symbiosis International University (SIU). With a vision to promote international understanding through quality education, SIBM Hyderabad offers a two-year MBA course in various disciplines at the postgraduate level. SIBM Hyderabad Admission for class 2023-25 has begun. Candidates Interested in pursuing MBA from SIBM Hyderabad are required to register for SNAP before November 24, 2022.

The application form can be filled online by visiting the official website of SIBM Hyderabad which includes separate registrations for SNAP and SIBM.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline as a minimum educational requirement for admission to MBA program.
Admission is based on the candidate’s score in SNAP followed by Group Exercise, Personal Interview and Writing Ability Test (WAT). Interested Candidates need to note that registration for SNAP has started and will end on November 24, 2022.
Reservations are offered as per the rules of Symbiosis International University (SIU)
For deserving candidates, the institute also offers various scholarships.

SIBM Hyderabad offers a 2-year-long full-time MBA program in four different specializations, such as:

SIBM Hyderabad MBA Eligibility

The candidates must possess a graduation degree from any recognized University with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% marks or equivalent grade for reserved category candidates).
Applicants who have completed their qualifying degree from a Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
Candidates appearing for final year examinations can also apply, but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% marks or equivalent grade for Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribes).

Note: Admission of such a candidate will be provisional and will be canceled in the event of non-fulfillment of the above-stated criteria.

SIBM Hyderabad MBA Selection Criteria

Eligible candidates must appear for Symbiosis National Aptitude (SNAP) Online Test, according to which the candidates will be shortlisted for the Selection Process which will comprise of:

The institute will release a merit list of all the qualified candidates.

SNAP Exam Pattern

Duration: 60 minutes
It will be a computer-based test.
Each incorrect answer will attract 25% negative marks.
The test will comprise of 5 Special Questions under the Section of Quantitative, Data Interpretation and Data Sufficiency.

The candidate must score the minimum required percentile in SNAP. The Cut Off (percentile) for SNAP is expected to be 60+.

Qualified candidates will be called for GE-WAT-PI Round.
It is mandatory to attend all components/tests of GE-PIWAT to be eligible for admission to the MBA program.
Only those candidates who attend all components of the selection process (GE-PI-WAT) shall be considered as eligible for the final merit list.

Merit list will be based on the following parameters:

SIBM Hyderabad How to Apply?

To apply for admission, the candidates must visit the official website of the SNAP and register for the exam.

Follow the given steps to fill up the application form.

Click on 'Register'.
Read all the terms and conditions and then click on the 'I Agree' button.
Enter the details in the registration form.
An OTP will be sent on the registered mobile number.
Enter the 'OTP' and submit.
Enter the SNAP id and password.
Pay the fee for the SNAP test.
Register for the program.
Fill in the application form carefully.
Make payment for the institution’s program.

Ans. No, registrations for SNAP are accepted only through online mode. However, candidates can submit the required fee offline through Demand Draft (DD).

Ans. The SNAP test will take place during December 10; December 18 & December 23, and the results for the same will be declared on January 10, 2023.

Among these three institutes, choosing NMIMS Hyderabad will be better. Despite being established recently, it became well-recognized in the industry. The faculty base is one of the best in the country. It organizes a lot of guest lectures. Speakers from different industries provide insight into the latest happening in the industry. The campus has many active clubs and committees. In 2021 placement drive, they clocked an average of 9.59 LPA. Few of the major recruiters that took part in the placement drive are Lido, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, Deloitte, etc.

One of my friends studied at SIBM and according to him, the college is known for its placements. Small batches and teaching standards. They only accept SNAP scores. Although both NIDM and SIBM Hyderabad are very good management institutions you should choose SIBM Hyderabad because of the following reasons: They provide a compulsory 8 weeks of the internship program. They have collaborated with Dauphine University, Berlin school of economics, Flensburg University, Hochschule Bremen, LISBON School of Economics & Management. This collaboration gives you immense exposure. The infrastructure is good. The whole campus, hostels are wifi enabled with world-class facilities. The college is located in the industrial area of Hyderabad and is also an industrial hub. The faculty members are also very good. They make more use of case studies, group discussions, simulations, lab tutorials, seminars, and workshops to make students understand, learn and gain practical exposure. The curriculum is designed as per the industry’s needs. There are various kinds of extracurricular activities in the college. Symbiosis has only good colleges in Pune. SIBM Hyderabad is merely an extension of the franchise, designed to attract students from all over India. If you are interested in attending a Symbiosis college, you should consider SIBM Pune, not SIBM Hyderabad. The same is true for IBS; IBS has many branches, such as IBS Pune and IBS Bangalore, but these are only extensions of the main campus, which is IBS Hyderabad. It is recommended that you choose a main campus college, rather than an extension of a good college. The final Verdict is that you should go for IBS Hyderabad. It is always recommended to do your own research and gather information from multiple sources before making a decision on your education.
