AMU Distance Education programs are imparted through the Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE). Distance/online UG, PG, Diploma and certificate courses are offered at CDOE. Admission to the programs are based on Academic Merit of the candidate. Due to professional, economical, or societal restrictions, a sizable portion of society is unable to engage in the regular stream of education. These people can all have the chance to profit from distance learning. For educationally underdeveloped regions to benefit from university programs, Centre for Distance Education AMU distance education is affordable.
- The minimum eligibility for UG courses is that the candidate must have passed 10+2 or an equivalent degree in any stream from a recognized university.
- The eligibility criteria for M.A. and M.Com. is a graduate degree with 50% aggregate marks.
- The selection under all the courses is done on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying degree.
