Anna University Distance Education is known for its quality in online and self-learning model of education. CDE, Anna University offers selected professional degree courses viz. MBA, MCA and M.Sc in Computer Science. Admissions to the courses are done twice a year i.e. Academic Year (AY) and Calendar Year (CY).

Candidates who have obtained a bachelor’s degree under the 10+2+3 pattern are eligible to apply.
Candidates seeking admission to M.Sc, MCA must have studied Mathematics/Statistics as one of the subjects at the degree level or Mathematics at class 12th level.
Candidates will be required to appear in the Distance Education Entrance Test (DEET) for admission to MBA and MCA courses.
Those with valid TANCET scores will be exempted from appearing in DEET.
In the case of M.Sc, candidates are shortlisted based on the marks obtained in the qualifying bachelor’s degree examination.
The application form can be downloaded directly from the official website or purchased from any one of the CDE study centers.
The application fee of INR 650 should be paid via Demand Draft (DD) issued in favour of “The Director, Centre for Distance Education, Anna University”.

CDE, Anna University MBA Eligibility:

Candidates seeking admission to MBA program offered by CDE, Anna University should have a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University.

CDE, Anna University MBA Selection Process:

For admission to the MBA program of CDE, Anna University conducts an Entrance Exam i.e. DEET (Distance Education Entrance Test).

A valid score in DEET is required for admission to MBA. The allotment of seats will be done through counselling conducted by the Institute.

At the Postgraduate level, the Center of Education Anna University also offers MCA and M.Sc programs. The duration of both the programs is 2 years.

Candidates having a Bachelor’s degree with Mathematics/ Statistics as one of the subjects.

Those who have obtained their bachelor’s degree by undergoing the course in distance learning or correspondence mode are not eligible for the M.Sc course
Also, applicants who are enrolled and pursuing some other course are not eligible.

Registration for the courses offered by CDE Anna University can be done through offline mode only. Candidates may acquire the application form in any of the following methods:

The application can be obtained personally from CDE, Anna University by way of Demand Draft of INR 650 issued in favour of “The Director, Centre for Distance Learning, Anna University”, payable at Chennai.
The application can be downloaded from the Institute website to be submitted with a Demand Draft. In such cases, candidates should enclose a demand draft (DD) along with the filled application form.
Duly filled application form along with the self-attested copies of required certificates should be sent/ submitted personally to:
