  • Vidyavardhini’s College of Engineering and Technology BE admission 2024 is done through the MHT CET exam. The tentative MHT CET dates 2024 have been announced. The online application form will be released in March 2024. The MHT CET 2024 exam is to be held from April 16 to May 2, 2024. 
  • Vidyavardhini’s College of Engineering and Technology ME admissions are based on the GATE 2024 score. The registration process for GATE is over and the admit card will be released on January 03 onwards. GATE 2024 will occur on 03, 04, and 10, 11 February 2024.

Vidyavardhini’s College of Engineering and Technology (VCET), Vasai is affiliated to Mumbai University. It offers a 4-year B.E program in various disciplines. The college releases notifications regarding the admission for the First Year (FY) of its B.E. Degree courses as well as second year in the month of May every year.

  • Candidates seeking admission to the first semester of B.E. program should have passed 10+2 with PCM as main subjects from a recognized university.
  • Those who are looking for the direct admission to Second Year (SY) must have passed B.SC or Diploma in the relevant discipline.

Admission to FY B.E. program in Vidyavardhini’s College of Engineering and Technology (VCET) is entrance-based. Candidates have to qualify in MHT-CET conducted by DTE, Maharashtra.

The candidates who have passed B.Sc. or Diploma in Engineering from a recognized university are eligible to apply for the Lateral or SY admissions. Separate application forms are available for the SY or Lateral Entry (Mechanical 2nd shift) program on the official website of VCET.

  • Candidates who hold Diploma in Engineering awarded by the State Board of Technical Education, Mumbai or equivalent are eligible to apply to the third semester (SY) of the B.E. program.

Vidyavardhini’s College of Engineering and Technology (VCET) Application Process 2023

The College invites applications to offer admission in FY B.E. programs. Candidates need to follow the given steps tin order to apply for admission:

  1. Visit the campus of VCET to buy Information Brochure and Application form for INR 750 through cash.
  2. Fill the form and attach the self-attested photocopies of the required documents for the verification of the eligibility.

The following original documents need to be carried at the time of counselling:

  • A copy of receipt cum acknowledgment from facilitation center.
  • SSC and HSC mark sheet
  • MHT-CET score card
  • HSC leaving certificate
  • Domicile and Category Document
  • Two recent passport size photographs
  • Demand Draft or Pay order of INR 94,841.

VCET Scholarship Details 2023

VCET offers the scholarship at the time of admission as per the merit. Also, the scholarships are awarded by various organizations with respect to the eligibility and merit of the candidates. Some of the scholarships offered are listed below:

Remarks:

We need to pass 12th and clear JEE and MHT CET with a percentile of 70+ and 80+ respectively for the open category. The process is online and admission can be taken only through this process. if a person has a reservation then the fees are reduced.

Remarks:

Firstly we need to clear JEE or MHT-CET to get admission to this college. The cut-off is above the 80 percentile for the Open category in CET and the 70 percentile in JEE. The applications can be filled out on Mumbai University's official website.

Remarks:

To get admission in this branch first you have to give cet or jee exam score of a good percentile. Application form for this will be available on mahacet website and application fee is free and the last date to apply is before 2 months of exam If you belong to a reserved category then you get the benefit of a reserved category Application forms should be available offline too

Remarks:

I applied for the MHTCET entrance exam and obtained 82%ile. With the help of my percentile and reserved category (sc) I got admission to Vidyavardhini college of engineering and technology (vcet), BE Computer engineering.

Remarks:

The CET entrance exam cut-off was high for the branch I opt. And the process was also smooth for the admission. The authorities also helped with the purpose. and my admissions of my were done in half a day

Remarks:

The admission process is mainly based on MHT CET and JEE scores. 85 per cent of the seat is reserved for Maharastra Candidates and the other 15 per cent for Jee. Cutoff for the CS branch is around 88 percentile in jee and 93 or above in mht cet
