KJ Institute of Engineering and Technology (KJIT), Vadodara was established in 2009 and is running under the Jayka Jansahayak Trust. The college is affiliated to Gujarat Technological University (GTU). It is recognized by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The college offers Bachelor of Engineering course in five major streams.

The college has separate hostels for boys and girls with all modern facilities. The mission of KJIT is to produce the best engineers towards the growth of the nation and industry. The college has a placement cell that always prepares the students for their final placement. Many students of this college are placed in a reputed company. 100% scholarship is provided to students whose annual family income is less than 8 lpa at KJ Institute of Engineering & Technology.

KJIT Scholarship

In order to financially assist students who are unable to fully pay their tuition fees, the institute offers a number of scholarships. The scholarships are available for meritorious and deserving students.

  • Government scholarship facilities are provided to students. Moreover, freeship is provided to needy students who meet the eligibility for the scholarship. Students can also get an Education Loan from a Nationalized Bank without guarantee/mortgage. The guidance for obtaining the loan will be provided by the college. 
  • TFW: Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme is also applicable to the college. Admissions to the same are done by ACPC / ACPDC, Admission Committee. 
  • Scholarship: S.C. / S.T. / SEBC / EBC Students Get Scholarship as per the Government of Gujarat norms. 
  • For ST students Bus & Railway Concession Pass are provided.  Students should contact the student's department of the college.

Ques. How are the faculties at KJIT?

Ans. The institute houses a highly qualified and accomplished team of faculty members. All faculty members across the departments have years of experience and expertise. The faculty to student ratio in the BE programs is 15:1 and for Diploma it is 1:20.

Ans. The institute provides students with hostels with all the necessary facilities. Boys & girls have separate hostel building at the campus. Three to five students are allotted one room with attached toilet.
