For B.Tech admissions, students must secure 45% in 10+2 in PCM and qualify for either WB-JEE or JEE Main or AMPAI. The merit list is prepared by MAKAUT for counselling.
BBA and BCA admissions are offered on the basis of scores obtained in 10+2 in relevant compulsory subjects. Admissions are based upon MAKAUT Counselling.
To be eligible for M.Tech admissions, students must score 50% in B.E/B.Tech degree in a relevant discipline. The students must qualify for GATE or PGET, after which merit list would be prepared and admissions are offered.
MBA admissions are offered to those students who have a relevant full-time bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with 50%. The students must qualify MAKAUT conducted JEMAT for admissions.

Admission applications are accepted through MAKAUT online. A DD of INR 85300 (INR 80,300 for WBJEE Allotted candidate) in favour of JIS College of Engineering, payable at Kolkata needs to be submitted along with the application.

The application fee for taking this exam varies with the type of candidature. The application fee for the general category is INR 325. The following section throws light on the requirements and the process of registration for JEE Main.

- Scanned and recent photograph coloured or black/white (but clear contrast) JPG/JPEG format. Size should be between 10 kb to 200 kb.
- Scanned signature in JPG/JPEG format. Size should be between 4 kb to 30 kb.

The applications are accepted through the official website of GOAPS. Where the applicant must register first to create a new registration using one unique email id.

The steps for registration are as follows:
- Visit the official website wbut.ac.in.
- Click on Registration and go to Form 1-C.
- Fill in the required information like Name, Contact Number, Address, Gender, Category, Academic Details, etc.
- Make sure that the information given is accurate. The form once submitted will not be available for any modification.
- Click on Submit. Take a print out of the form.
- An application ID will be sent to the registered mobile number after form submission.
How to Apply for JIS College of Engineering?

- On application completion, candidates must take a print out and attach copies of the required documents.

After 12 Students are eligible for the course. As all the information is given on the college website for admission. It has a huge campus with many other facilities. It has very supportive staff. And has good facilities. It has a bus service for pickup or drop which help students so much. One thing I personally like about this college is it has a temple of God Hanuman ji.

The eligibility requirements for the course you are interested in. The minimum educational requirement for this course is to have passed your 12th-grade exams. If you have fulfilled this requirement, then you are eligible to apply for this course. Now, coming to the application process, you have two options to obtain the application form. The first option is to visit the college where you wish to enrol for this course and collect the application form from there. The second option is to download the application form from the college website. The college website should have a dedicated section for admission, where you can find the application form. In regards to the application fee, it is best to check the college website or contact the college directly to confirm the amount and mode of payment. My brother enrolled in the BTech program at JIS College of Engineering after going through a lot of brainstorming as a school graduate. Yes, it is a private engineering college but it has been ranked as one of the 'Best Private Engineering Colleges in Kolkata' and is amongst the 'Top 100 Colleges in India' by the Times of India i3RC Survey on Engineering Colleges of India.
You may want to know at the following points:
Location- JIS Engineering College has a 17.5 acres campus in Kalyani, West Bengal. The space is vast, green, and refreshing to behold.
Courses Available- JISCE offers a wide variety of programs in engineering and technology like the following- B.Tech in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics, and Communication Engineering and Electrical Engineering. Apart from these, it also runs degrees in BCA, BBA & MBA.
Tuition Fees- If you're worried that being a private college they'll charge high fees- then you Don't worry because the fees are nominal: for instance, it is INR 3-4 LPA for a BE/BTech program.
Infrastructure and Hostel Availability- JIS has one of the best infrastructures because of its Flip Learning facility, seven smart classrooms, labs, library, canteen, and a recording studio with a 24x7 recording facility for both students and faculty members to record digital audio-visual content. There are two separate hostels for boys and girls.
For internships and placements, each department has its own internship provision and if you're a brilliant student, you might even get to work with the Asian Institute of Technology in Bangkok. The placement rate is also a good 78-80% with an average salary of around 2-3 LPA and the highest being INR 6-10 LPA; BME and CSE are the best departments in terms of placements.
However, if you're not comfortable with strictness then rethink your decision to enroll because JIS has its own dress code. Also, the 75% compulsory attendance rule is not relaxed at any cost. Although this strictness has one good point too, as JIS is a fully ragging-free campus, hence students can join without any stress on that matter.

JISCE follows a concept of 'Flip Learning,' a rare mode of learning which gives an advantage in placement than JISU. It is the first of its kind in West Bengal.
At JISCE, about 140-150 CSE students got placed with Amazon, Capgemini and Wipro with an average package of 2.5-2.8 LPA. The highest package was INR 10 LPA offered by BYJUs. Over 80% of students got placed in 2020.
The major recruiters at JISU are Bandhan Bank, Cipla, and Flipkart.
JISCE has better lab facilities than JISU. It has over 57 laboratories with better infrastructure and are fully wifi enabled.
The CSE department of the JISCE promotes Digital Learning to save paperwork, keeping in alignment with the digital age.
JIS College of Engineering has a highly qualified faculty of over 20-25 members. They are better compared to JIS University.
The only negative point is that the campus life is boring at JISU, and ragging is rampant as well.There are many colleges under the JIS group and if you compare JIS colleges with others in terms of faculty, placements, salary packages offered, JISCE gets the first position.
