Government Engineering College Kozhikode (GECK) was established in 1999 is one among the 9 prestigious Government Engineering Colleges under DTE, Kerala. GECK offers B.Tech and M.Tech program in different streams. B.Tech admissions are done on the basis of score obtained in KEAM, while admission in M.Tech course will be done through GATE score. The application and admission process at GECK is completely online i.e centralized admission process (CAP) based on merit and eligibility criteria.

Government Engineering College Kozhikode (GECK) also offers admission to diploma holders under the B.Tech Lateral entry scheme. Candidates have to meet the specific eligibility criteria prescribed by the Calicut University to secure admission in GECK. Courses offered by GECK
GECK offers B.Tech program at UG level under 5 different streams. Admission to the B.Tech program requires a valid KEAM score or equivalent state level/national level examination score. Candidates can apply online by visiting the official website of GECK on payment of INR 800 (INR 400 for SC/ST) as application fee.

Government Engineering College Kozhikode (GECK) B.Tech first year Admission: Candidates have to qualify the State Level Entrance examination conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations or State level/National level Entrance Examination approved by the Government of Kerala as equivalent.
Admission to Diploma Holders: Candidate must have passed 10+3 diploma in engineering with minimum 50% marks in second and third year from recognized university.
GECK invites application for 2-year full-time M.Tech program from the eligible candidates in 3 different streams such as Signal Processing (AE&I), Energy Systems Analysis and Design (ME), Computer Aided Process Design (Ch.E). Candidates need to have valid GATE score for admission.

Candidates will be shortlisted through the Centralized admission procedure (CAP) and considered for further admission process by the university purely on merit basis.
