Mahatma Gandhi Mission's College of Engineering and Technology (MGMCET) was established in 1982. The college is affiliated to Mumbai University. It offers B.Tech (First shift as well as second shift) and M.E programs in various specializations. Admission to MGMCET is done on the basis of guidelines issued by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra.
- B.Tech. aspirants should have passed 10+2 with at least 50% marks in Science stream with Mathematics and Physics as main subjects.
- The M.E program requires at least 50% marks in B.Tech in the relevant discipline.

- The candidates looking for direct admissions in the 2nd year of the program should have passed Diploma in Engineering or B. Sc with at least 45% marks from a recognized university.
