Minimum eligibility for admission in B.Tech is to pass 10+2 with PCM as subjects and a minimum aggregate of 50%.
To be eligible for M.Tech, candidates should have a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in the Engineering Degree examination.
Admission to the B.Tech and B.Tech lateral programs are done through Kerala Engineering Entrance Examination, KEAM and DTE, Kerala LET respectively.
Admission to the M.Tech program is through valid score in Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE).

At undergraduate level, College of Engineering, Kidangoor Kottayam offers B.Tech degree in multiple specializations. The college also accepts lateral entries in the B.Tech program. Minimum eligibility for admission in B.Tech is to pass 10+2 with PCM as subjects and a minimum aggregate of 50%. The minimum marks requirement is 45% for candidates belonging to socially and educationally backward classes.

At the postgraduate level, College of Engineering, Kidangoor offers M.Tech degree in two specializations to the aspiring candidates. The intake capacity is 18 seats for each of the M.Tech specializations.

Candidates should have a minimum of 60% aggregate marks or CGPA of 6.5 in the Bachelor’s degree examination to be eligible for the M.Tech. Selection of candidates will be based on the GATE score.

Key Points for Admission:

For SC/ST candidates a pass in the Engineering Degree course is sufficient.
For SEBC (OBC) students, a minimum of 54% aggregate marks in the Engineering Degree examination is mandatory.
Candidates, who have passed AMIE / AMIETE Examinations with minimum of 55% marks are eligible for admission.
In case seats remain vacant due to lack of candidates with valid GATE score, candidates from Kerala State without valid GATE score will be considered against such vacancies
