College of Engineering [CEM] is a government engineering college located at the Munnar hill station of Kerala, India. It was established in the year of 2000. The college is affiliated to Cochin University of Science and Technology. The institution is recognized by AICTE.
At undergraduate level, College of Engineering offers engineering program that award a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree, which is offered under APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University Kerala. The university offers postgraduate programs that lead to Master of Technology (M.Tech) degree.
- 5% Seats are reserved for candidates belonging to SEBC (Socially and Educationally Backward Classes). Only candidates belonging to SEBC communities having annual income less than INR 4.5 lakhs will be eligible for reservation under this category.
- 15% Seats are reserved for SC/ST Candidates.
- The seats reserved for each category will be distributed among the eligible communities by observing the pattern of general reservation rules of the state.
- 3% seats are reserved for physically handicapped candidates.
