In order to facilitate the studies of needy students and to honour the meritorious batch of students, Pearl Academy of Fashion provides a number of scholarships to their students.
For New Students:
Merit cum Means Scholarship
Pearl Academy awards Merit-cum-Means Scholarship to new entrants in regular UG and PG Pathway courses at the time of admission for their first year to meritorious students with limited means to benefit from world-class education in, Design, Fashion and Business offered at the Academy.
The Merit-cum-Means Scholarship (New Entrants) provides a partial waiver of tuition fee to a maximum of 10% of new entrants. Merit-cum-Means Scholarship waives payment of Tuition Fee only for the current Academic Year (First Year only) in the following categories:
- 50% waiver of Tuition fee
- 25% waiver of Tuition fee
Merit Criteria:
- For UG applicants – Marks in the 10th & 12th examination as well as I Pearl entrance exam/ personal interview/ studio test.
- For PG applicants – Based on merit in 12th and Graduation as well as Pearl entrance exam/ personal interview and Studio Test.
Means Criterion:
The Annual gross family income from all sources should be maximum INR 6,00,000. Additional weightage is given to the wards of a single parent.
For Existing Students:
Merit Scholarships – Merit Scholarship will be awarded annually to the students who have topped in their disciplines.
Merit Scholarship (Course Toppers) is subject to: –
- Course Topper achieving the minimum of 60% marks.
- The awardee should maintain the minimum prescribed aggregate attendance.
Industry scholarship – Few scholarships are sponsored by reputed companies for deserving students who are enrolled in regular UG/PG/MA Programs.
Industry Scholarship will be awarded based on academic performance of the applicants in each program as given under:
- Full scholarships to students who secure between First to Fifth rank in their course.
- Part scholarships to students who are ranked below 5th position.
Note: A student will be eligible for only one type of Scholarship in each Academic year. The scholarship amount will only be adjusted against student fees.
